gives me a clear idea of the product’s phishing-
protection skills.

products currently score 96% or higher, including

I tested ESET Cyber Security for Mac with the same set
of samples and found its behavior didn’t track with that
of the Windows-based product at all. In fact, macOS
ESET caught just 10% of the phishing frauds. When I
asked about the same problem during my previous
review, my company contact explained that “we have an
issue with some scanning related to some https links,”

still working on it.
It’s clear from the Windows version’s score that ESET
has the technology to do a good job detecting phishing
frauds. I hope that technology will make its way into the
Mac edition.
