Craig Charles
6 Music, 1pm
Tom Jones and 6 Music
may not seem as if they
are obvious bedfellows, but
Craig Charles is not your
typical 6 Music DJ and he
has invited the legendary
Welsh singer, right, on to his
show for a natter. In April
Jones, who turned 81 this
year, released his 41st studio
album and fourth album of
cover versions, Surrounded
By Time, which went to No 1
in the UK, making him the
oldest male artist to achieve

the accolade. Jones joins
Charles to promote its
expanded reissue, The
Hourglass Edition, which
includes a stunning version
of Bob Dylan’s Not Dark Yet.
