...DIFFERENTLY

Mountains are rare in Denmark. That’s
unfortunate for skiers, who usually have
to travel to neighbouring countries for
their sport. Since 2019, however, winter
sports enthusiasts have also been able to
get their money’s worth in Copen hagen.
In the Danish capital, a 450-metre-long
artificial ski slope opened—on the roof of a
waste incineration plant! Those who don’t
want to race down the slope of CopenHill
on the green plastic mats can try their
hand at the 85-metre-high climbing wall
or scale the “summit” on foot.
