Wrist Warmers.


Here is another quick and easy project.
These are simply rectangles worked
in a seeded rib. After you finish the
knitting, you sew the rectangles up the
side, leaving a hole for the thumb. The
seeded rib results in a highly fluted,
three-dimensional texture. Try wearing
them over mittens or gloves for added
warmth.

MATERIALS


1 hank Cascade Yarns Pastaza(50% llama/50% wool, 132 yards/100g hank) in yellow #78


Size 11 (8mm) needles


Tapestry needle


GAUGE
12 stitches and 16 rows to 4 inches over seeded rib pattern on size 11 (8mm) needles


Note:The generic gauge for this yarn is actually 4 stitches per inch over stockinette stitch on size 9 (5.5mm) needles. Larger needles are
used for this project to accentuate the open stitch pattern.
