1 Weave in ends, except those that can be used to sew seams.


2 Block pieces to measurements shown on page 238.


3 Sew left shoulder seam.


4 Work turtleneck: Join yarn and use size 9 circular needle to
k11 (11, 12, 12, 13, 13) sts from holder for back neck, k2tog,
k11 (11, 11, 12, 13, 14) sts from holder for back neck; pick up
and k14 (14, 15, 14, 15, 16) sts down left front neck shaping,
k12 (12, 13, 14, 16, 17) sts from holder for front neck; pick up
and k14 (14, 15, 15, 15, 16) sts up right front neck—63 (63, 67,
68, 73, 77) sts.


5 Work ribbing as instructed for your st count until collar meas-
ures 7 (7, 7^1 ⁄ 2 , 7^1 ⁄ 2 , 8, 8) inches.


6 BO sts loosely in patt.


7 Sew right shoulder seam and collar seam.


8 Center sleeves on shoulder seams with RS together and sew
sleeves onto sweater.


9 Lightly steam seams.


0 Sew side and sleeve seams.


!Weave in rem ends.


@Steam entire sweater, including seams, again.
