Teach Yourself Visually Knitting

(Michael S) #1

Child’s Raglan Sweater with Fair Isle Details.

This project familiarizes you with
raglan shaping and Fair Isle knitting.
The Fair Isle sections are only a few
rows long, so this pattern is not too
difficult. Remember to include the
Fair Isle pattern when working your
gauge swatch. If you get a slightly
tighter gauge on the Fair Isle section,
try working that part on needles one
size larger. If you want to make a very
easy version of this sweater, you can
eliminate the Fair Isle patterns at the
hem and cuffs.
