RIGHT-SLANTING MAKE ONE
WITH PURL STITCH


1 Before a purl stitch, use the left needle to
pick up the horizontal strand from back
to frontbetween the last stitch worked on
the right needle and the next stitch to be
worked on the left needle.


2 Insert the right needle into the front of the
strand and purl it.

FINISHED INCREASE


After you work a few rows, you can see how this increase slants to the right.


You can make some increases that are barely visible. One such increase, the make one, involves lifting the horizontal strand between 2
stitches up onto the left needle and knitting it. This version slants to the right.
