your hard drive where Google Drive files should be stored. Any

as normal, and any you place in the Google Drive folder will be
synchronise to the cloud. Many types of files can be viewed or
even edited online. Visit Google Drive in a web browser, and you

right click to choose an online app that can be used to edit it.

7 Sharing files with others
One of the great things about Google Drive is that it enables
you to easily share files with friends and family. On the Google
Drive website, or on your computer, you can right click a file or
folder and select the Share option (in the Google Drive sub-menu
on your computer) before entering someone’s email address. You
can also add a note to be included in an email that is sent out.

8 Advanced sharing options
By default, people you share files with will be able to edit
them, but this can be changed. Having selected the Share option,
enter someone’s email address and click the button to the right
before deciding whether they should be able to view, edit or
comment on the file. You can also click the Advanced link to see
other options, such as making files publicly available.
