For the price of a pretty normal dishwasher, you can get a pretty
clever one. Like other products here, it’s centred around app and
Alexa connectivity. You can use the Alexa skill to either start a
wash cycle, or to ask how long is left in the current one – useful
for making plans. It’s a similar story with the app – you can use it
to begin a cycle remotely if you forget to turn it on before you
leave, or to schedule one. Smartest of all is the AutoDose tech,though: instead of adding a cleaning tablet each time, the
dishwasher has a detergent reserve, and it will work out how
much to add to a load based on how dirty it detects that your
dishes are. When the reserve needs refilling, you get a
notification – and it even knows when you’re out of detergent,
and can order more for you automatically.
