Thesolutionis simple:unplugall

yourexternaldrives,thenattempt

to install the update using https://

support.microsoft.com/en-gb/

help/3159635/windows-10-update-

assistant.Onceit’ssuccessfully

installedandyou’rereturnedto

theWindowsdesktop,reconnect

yourdrivesoneata time.We

recommendpluggingtheminto

matchtheircurrentdriveletter

order,sostartwithdriveE,then

moveontodriveF, andsoonand
