Track record: Having been involved in 10
deals in Belgium worth over $15 billion in
2015, Lazard takes the leading M&A advisor
spot. It was a sell-side advisor to the Del-
haize Group during its sale to Royal Ahold in
the largest consumer and retail sector tran-
saction ever to take place within the Benelux
region. The transaction alone was worth $12
billion.

Francophone region of Europe. In Belgium,
the bank advised Qualium Investissement
on its sale of Quick Restaurants to Burger
King France of $895 million. In addition, it
also advised AAC Capital Partners on the
disposal of its stake in Salad Signature to IK
Investment Partners.
