piece suit, with a long, sensible skirt and white blouse with a tie. Add a little splash
of color with some caramel-colored loafers.Draw a basic figure from
lines and ovals, and add a
face and hair. Start the out-
fit at the neck by drawing a
collar, lapels, and a shaded
necktie.Complete the lines of
the jacket, giving it a
button trim, sleeves,
and a breast pocket.Next add a below-knee
skirt. Then flesh out the
legs and feet, giving the
character short socks and
athletic shoes.Ink all the main lines. Color
the tie black, then suggest
creases at the elbows,
under the breast, around
the waist, and on the skirt.
Outline the pocket trims.Color the suit dark
gray, and then make the
shoes a pale shade of
caramel. Leave white
cuffs for the shirt, white
buttons, and a white
breast-pocket trim.Finally, work some
subtle shading around
