Banalmond Bliss
This creamy treat is an evolution of banana ice cream. As a frozen treat, this dish is pure bliss. Enjoy with Buckies as an alternative to chopped
nuts.
SERVES 2 TO 4
8 bananas, peeled and sliced
¼ cup Almond Mylk
2 tablespoons raw almond butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Chopped walnuts, for garnish (optional)
Place the bananas in a sealed container and freeze for about 8 hours, or until firm. Put the frozen bananas through a homogenizing juicer with the
blank plate in place, or purée in a food processor until smooth. In a large bowl, combine the almond mylk, almond butter, and vanilla. Add the frozen
banana purée and stir until combined. Freeze, covered, for 1 hour, or until firm. Transfer to individual serving bowls, garnish with the walnuts, and
serve.
