Oat-Date Rawies
It’s great to be able to make quick and tasty desserts. These simple treats keep well and are fabulous to break out when unexpected company
stops in for a rawie and a glass of nut mylk.
SERVES 4 TO 6
2 cups sprouted oats
1 cup seeded, soaked dates, drained
1 cup soaked raisins, drained
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Using a homogenizing juicer, homogenize the oats and dates until smooth and place in a large bowl. Stir in the raisins and cinnamon. For each
rawie, form 2 tablespoons of the dough into a ball, place on a dehydrator tray, and press into a ½-inch round. Repeat for the remaining rawies.
Using one of the methods described here, dehydrate the rawies for 18 hours, or until dry, and then serve.
