03.11 Don’t
mention the war
“The Archbishop of
Canterbury, Justin
Welby, was at Cop26
in Glasgow and
suggested the failure
to act would possibly
be more grave than
when leaders ignored
warnings about the
Nazis in the Thirties.
My immediate
thought was John
Cleese and Fawlty
Towers. Welby later
apologised but
he can be such
a fool at times.”
04.11 Shipbuilding
on the Clyde
“This one also
focuses on the
climate summit.
I just liked this idea
that the whole thing
was going to go belly
up and have no
effect on anything
whatsoever. We’d be
doing shipbuilding
on the Clyde
again... except this
time it would be
Noah’s Ark.”
