kinds of music the subscriber wants to listen
to. Apple has confirmed that its new intelligent
playlists will be available to every subscriber of
any Apple Music plan — and make using Apple
Music, together with Siri, even better. Apple
has also confirmed that Apple Music Voice Plan
subscribers will also be able to access major
playlists curated by the Apple Music team,
including New Music Daily, Rap Life, Today’s
Hits, A-List Pop, and R&B Now. The service,
which launches alongside iOS 15.2, is available
in Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France,
Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan,
Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan, the United
Kingdom, and the United States right now,
though the chances are that Apple will be rolling
out the plans into other territories depending
on the success of the scheme. However, as
we’ve seen with other Apple services, like Apple
News+ and Apple Arcade, the company does
not always find success with its subscription
products, so there’s no guarantee the Apple
Music Voice Plan will go beyond the current 17
supported regions.

Although it’s great to see Apple add a new
lower-cost service, the chances are that
most users will favor Apple Music’s premium
offerings, which offers access to services
including Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio,
Lyrics, Music Videos, and more, under an
individual plan for $9.99 per month or family
plan with up to six accounts for $14.99 per
month at any time. There are even better deals
to be had when you take out an Apple One
plan, which bundles together a number of
services like Music, iCloud+ Storage, and Apple
Fitness+ at a discount.
