4.4.1.3 Be REINFORCED with glue blocks where essential.
4.4.1.4 Utilize clamp nail, biscuit spline, butterfly, scarf, or dowel joinery. M

4.4.1.6 Shall be MECHANICALLY FASTENED with nails or screws, where practical, or with fasteners in
