Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA)
Summary
Principles
Monitoring of the temperature difference between a sample and an inert reference as they are heated
uniformly. Endothermic or exothermic changes in the sample lead to characteristic deviations in
temperature, which can be used for qualitative and quantitative analyses.
