One of the reasons why Tesla has succeeded is
because it’s taken more risks, and for more than
a decade, the firm has been developing battery-
powered vehicles from the ground up and using
software to make the batteries more efficient.
The company, to the displeasure of some car
fans, scrapped some of the weighty luxury
features to create a more aerodynamic vehicle
and ditched multi-gear transmissions in favor
of dual motors programmed to send varying
power ratios to the front and rear wheels. Thanks
to Tesla EV’s impressive battery ranges, the
company has maintained its grip on the market
and now holds nearly a 60% stake of new EVs
