THE 2021 MODEL S


Since its introduction back in 2012, the Tesla
Model S has served as a benchmark for electric
vehicles, transforming the landscape and
offering consumers a car for the future. It’s
proven to be one of the most popular electric
models on sale, selling 29,950 in the United
States in 2018 and 20,301 in 2020. This year, the
model has undergone its first major refresh and
is available in a 1,100 horsepower Plaid+ variant,
with a headline range of 520 miles and a radical
interior redesign. Externally, there have been
some subtle design tweaks, too, with a more
aggressive look and the introduction of two new
air-vents, as well as a wider body that delivers an
imposing, dramatic silhouette. It now includes a
glass roof as standard.


The exterior tweaks aren’t just to differentiate
between previous generations; Tesla says that
