a powerhouse chip with an impressive leap
in battery life, and the reviewers would agree.
“Everything on the iPhone 13 is just a bit better,”
said James Peckham of TechRadar in his
review of the smartphone back in September,
whilst WhatHiFi said that the iPhone 13 Pro Max
was “an astonishingly good smartphone
made marginally but undeniably better.”
Although the changes were perhaps not as
dramatic as those in previous years, Apple
still managed to shift a great deal of stock in
the first couple of months of the new iPhone
range going on sale, so much so that it faces
shortages even changing supply chains,
making fewer iPads and more iPhones in the
run-up to the holidays. The iPhone 13 range is,
naturally, the very best set of iPhones that Apple
has ever made, and we can’t wait to see where
the company goes next in 2022.

Alongside the new iPhones, Apple unleashed
a stunning new iPad mini 6, which sports
the same iPad Pro and iPad Air design,
and a cheaper ninth-generation iPad. But
what was perhaps one of the most exciting
announcements was the Apple Watch Series
7, which was introduced at the September
event, but due to supply constraints caused by
manufacturing issues, it didn’t launch until mid-
October. The smartwatch features a stunning
all-screen design, better battery life and for the
first time, a full QWERTY keyboard. Apple added
up to 33% faster charging and introduced five
all-new aluminum colors to the most durable
smartwatch the company has ever created. It
might not have sported the new design many
had predicted, but it’s a quality improvement
and sets the Apple Watch to a new standard.
