Orgone energy is within us and outside of us.
The health-enhancing action of sun and fresh air is due to orgone
energy. The same is true with the hitherto ununderstood action of
vitamins and natural foods.
The biological orgasm corresponds to a discharge of biophysical
orgone energy through a series of involuntary total body contractions.
Cosmic and natural feelings of the human animal are due to the
physical link-up of his body orgone with the cosmic orgone around
him, a relation which cannot be accounted for by mechanical physics or
chemistry. Orgone energy is, in contradistinction to atomic energy,
present independently of matter and before matter. Atomic energy is
secondary energy, derived from matter. Orgone energy is primordial
cosmic energy before matter.
Orgone energy was not discovered by mechanistic physico-chemistry
because it does not function according to known mechanical or chem
icallaws, but according to hitherto unknown functional laws such as pul
sation, lumination, attraction of the weaker body by the stronger body,
etc. Natural phenomena such as the aurora borealis, or the function of
the divining rod, are due to orgone energy.
It is to be emphasized that orgone energy is neither mystical nor
mechanical, but a truly physical, functional energy in the universe.
