horse or a Bambi. One thing I have learned, that the Freudians are
wrong when they say that fantasy is a flight from reality, for Z. is at
home in both. Still her identification with animals may be a flight from
the wrongly reared human animals around her. No, for now during
vacation she plays animals more than ever, so that I have to scrabble
about the floor as a "friendly lion what doesn't eat people" twice daily.
Again, pax old Freud, she has never shown any desire to be a boy, and
in play all her animals must be female. I do wish we could meet to
compare notes on our brats.

In the absence of a skilled therapist, orgone therapy in Britain
will be poor; worse still, get into the hands of cranks and neurotics. But
I see that a doctor coming over would have to make a sacrifice of a
good dollar income for a relatively poor pound one. And of course he
might be prevented from practising by the orthodox B.M.A. [British
Medical Association]. Do keep me informed about the latest news of
the lab.

I wonder whether I answered your letter of January 7th. I also
have your letter of January 22nd. We know that a skilled medical
orgonomist should as soon as possible be sent to England. The pound
dollar relationship would be a minor issue. The true difficulty is that all
our physicians are tremendously busy over here.
We had a very exciting and also dangerous experience here at
Orgonon with anti-nuclear experimentation. You will soon be able to
read about it in the report which will go out.
