I just received your good letter of July 11th, reflecting on
People in Trouble. It was a very good letter, thank you. However, you
overlooked the fact that the second volume was not written by me in
English personally, but was a translation done by several non-profes
sional student translators. All the best.

Rainmaking article good. Aber [But] it will be a comedy if
you attain "public" fame as a getter of rain instead of a getter of public
health (pro-life). I can imagine a National Biography (published 1984)
saying : Reich, Wilhelm, famous scientist, discoverer of rain-making
process. It is a pity that this great man wasted his time and energy in
advocating views on sex that were of no importance.
Just been to Oxford University lecturing to a Teachers Conference.
How dull they were, how divorced from all that matters.

Just got your good letter of August loth. Don't worry: I won't
go down in history as the rain-maker, since I'm careful to maintain
my already famous status as the discoverer of the cosmic Orgone Energy,
the Life Energy. It is really the Oranur Experiment which puts the
foundation under my whole scientific and personal existence.
Why don't you forget the Freudians for a while? They did th eir job,

from the past into the future.
I hope you are well. Hoppe and Raknes are here, and we are con-
