My dear Reich,[undated]Ritter is upset about your letter to him. I have tried to explain
how it is, that he didn't go through therapy, that you must wonder how
qualified he is to interpret OF [Orgonomic Functionalism]. I have ad
vised him to change the name to Self-Regno [Regulation] and not claim
to be an interpreter of OF.
He is a well-meaning guy but how tactless! Latest number says Zoe
won't put on warm clothes because she has met with authority or life
negative people. He must realise that to readers that means me and
Ena. Kann sein, aber so etwas sagt man nicht [Perhaps so, but one
doesn't say such things].
Much worried about Formosa and the danger of a world war. Nearest
U.S.A. airbase is seven miles away, so that ... well, I don't want my
Zoe to die for Chiang Kai-shek or Malenkov or Ike or Churchill or any
one else. I sadly think that the fighting forces will destroy us all...
Big question: Is conscious knowledge that atom war means total de
struction enough to prevent war? To hell with nationalism of all kinds,
