lch komme sehr selten zum Schreiben [I very seldom get
around to writing]. 1 always lose energy in spring. The cottage in which
we live has very little heating because we are mostly over in the main
school building. So every winter the Box feels damp and useless. It is
only now that the spring winds have come that it functions. 1 can now
use it for at least six months. 1 think that in this country that difficulty
of dampness will be everywhere; hardly a house has central heating.
Thanks for CORE No 2. Fascinating reading, but to me most irritat
ing. You say I am too impatient for recognition, but when 1 read of
your telegrams to State Heads and Ike etc. and know that they are given
no attention 1 get wild. If you don't you must be super (or sub) human.
I can understand officials and scientists saying: "Orgones are bunk. We
can't see them," but if you bust a cloud and make rain that is visible
to one and all, I can't see why someone doesn't take it up as something
new or at least as news. Hoppe tells me you got grass to grow in Arizona
and cactus etc. to die. It just beats me. Saucers and orgones come from
too far off to be accepted by the masses. So I'm not quite sure why you
bombard officialdom with telegrams about what you are doing about
rain. Unless to force them to have a record that can be consulted in the
year 2000.
Much worried about money. Constant fight to make ends meet and I
don't know how long we can carry on. Numbers dropped from 60 to
42 and our fees just about half those of big schools, reason being that
believers in freedom are nearly always poor folks.
Invited to an educational conference in Weilburg, near Coblenz, in
August, free hospitality from the German teachers. Will meet people
I haven't seen for over 34 years. I fear it will be a solemn conference,
for pedagogues can't laugh.
Ena and Zoe both well.
