awarded to Lindbergh the order of the German Eagle, on Hitler’s orders,
asked him about his recent trip to Russia and talked about the Ju . HG
“said that at one time he knew so little about finance that he couldn’t even
keep his own pocketbook filled. Göring said he told Hitler he would be
willing to take on any problems in Germany except the religious problem.
... He spoke at length, then sat and frequently closed his eyes while the
translation was going on.”
