models are ideal for true sportsmen. Perhaps
Jobs could have borrowed some of the features
from competitors to further improve the Apple
Watch - perhaps even ofering consumers a
much-requested circular watch face.

Keen to continue innovating in new ields, Steve
Jobs reportedly expressed an early interest in
augmented reality, and his inluence on Apple’s
upcoming Apple Glasses concept would have
been felt. So much so that one report has
suggested Apple will release a limited-edition
Steve Jobs variant of its upcoming smart glasses
featuring Jobs’ iconic glasses frame design. The
company has reportedly been working on AR
Glasses since 2016, and it’s thought that we’ll
see an announcement of the long-awaited AR
Glasses as early as 2022. When this happens,
we will likely witness another disruption of
the market. Just like what iPhones did for old
boring cellular phones and Apple Watch did for
traditional watches, AR glasses from Apple will
transform the landscape for glasses wearers and
non-glasses wearers alike, and there’s no doubt
that Steve Jobs could have had a signiicant
inluence on their design and direction. That’s
without mentioning Apple TV - a real television
set that could have helped Apple forge a new
path in consumer electrics and compete with
the likes of Samsung, or its own monitor. Apple
has dipped its toe in the monitor market and
most recently launched the Pro Display XDR in
2019 for an eye-watering $5,000. Under Jobs,
perhaps Apple could have launched more
afordable consumer monitors to go with the
Mac mini and the rest of the Mac range to ofer
a true Apple multi-screen experience for editing
video and playing games.
