The top "outside" view of the bearing is shown in figure 6.7. It
is an orthogonal (perpendicular) projection. Notice the
direction of the arrows for the "A-A" cutting plane.

6.2. How Sections Are Shown


To clearly draw the sectional views, we have to understand
the following terminologies.


A. Cutting Plane Lines


The cutting plane line indicates the path that an imaginary
