- Secondary treatment and disposal of the septic tank
effluent: the effluent from the septic tank is disposal off by
one of the following methods:
(a) Soak pits or seepage pits: pits used to dispose of
effluent from septic tanks are commonly 2-5 m deep
with a diameter of 1.0-2.5 m. the capacity should be
not less than that of the septic tank. For detail
