abusive language. However, others in the Sabha, including the Vice-President
and the villagers stood in my favour and argued with the wrongdoers. It was
finally decided to organize the gram Sabha again.
In vindication of my strong stand against this malpractice, the second gram
Sabha was duly organized and this time round approximately 400 villagers -
with about 50-60 women attended. We were successful and all the original
demands were properly incorporated.
