- Bear in mind that Churchill considered the Koran to be verbose and
shapeless, and this opinion was with Churchill having access to
Rodwell’s chronological translation of the Koran, which was published
by a mass-market publisher from 1861 to 1937, an edition which not only
gave the Koran shape by putting it into chronological order, but which
also attempted to render each chapter as if it was a chapter of a novel,
instead of breaking the chapters up into numbered verses. Thus it seems
likely that those Kuffar who have attempted to understand Islam from any
of the score of jumbled-up translations of the last 70 years have struggled
far more than Churchill in understanding Islam. ↵
