of Koran verses 2:190 to 2:193, and how these can serve to moderate
other war-mongering verses in the Koran. T.P. Schwartz-Barcott, War,
Terror and Peace in the Qu’ran and Islam, pp.52-54. According to
Haqq, verses 2:190 to 2:193 are cancelled by verse 9:5, one of the very
verses Schwartz-Barcott hopes can be moderated by the verses which it
