  15. Before describing what took place in the ever
    memorable Council of Nicea, let us pause for a moment in
    the presence of the principal prelates who assembled there
    and ponder some of the deeds of this great host of the King
    of Kings. Among the three hundred and eighteen trained
    servants of the Most High, were men who carried within
    their bodies the sears of their fearless Confessions during the
    persecutions; men in whom all the Apostolic gifts still dwelt
