than Islam, it will not be accepted, and
he will be a loser in the Hereafter’’
(Sura 3:85).
‘‘Verily, those who disbelieve in the
religion of Islam, the Koran, and the
Prophet Muhammad from among the
people of the Scriptures and
alMushrikun (Polytheists) will abide in
the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of
creatures’’(Sura 98:6).
The Hadith underscores this point:
Muhammad says:
‘‘By whom who had my soul in his
hand (Allah), whoever among Jews and
Christian hears my religion and dies
without believing in it will go to hell
fire’’(Mishkat AlMessabih, vol.1,
no.10).
