  1. Evaluate the image with Levels. Choose Image, Adjust, Levels to view a his-
    togram of the image, which enables you to evaluate highlights and shadow
    pixels.
    The Level’s histogram shows that the image has few white tones, or even light
    gray tones (see Figure 10.17). This means that it is too dark and has low con-
    trast.
