1. Choose Select, Modify, Expand or Select, Modify, Contract to make the selec-
   tion grow or shrink in every direction by the number of pixels you specify in
   a dialog box (see Figure 11.18).

2. Expand with the options in the Select menu:
   ■ Select, Grow operates like a magic wand. It selects neighboring pixels in
   the image that resemble those in the existing selection. Tolerances are
   taken from the Magic Wand options bar.
