Nutrition plays a fundamental role in
maintaining good mental health. Poor diet
and poor mental health are highly correlated
and what’s going on in our guts can’t be
ignored when discussing mental health.
In this talk, professor of psychiatry Ted Dinan
will look at our current understanding of the
link between nutrition and mental health, as
mediated by our gut microbiome. He’ll also
look at the potential role of “psychobiotics”
in managing common psychosocial, cognitive
and neurological conditions.
