ujifilm has had a busy 12
months, releasing the GFX
100S, the GFX 50S II, a
slew of new lenses, and
now the X-T30 II. But while
the GFX bodies are upmarket medium-
format mirrorless cameras, targeting
photographers who want to squeeze the
most amount of detail possible from the
sensor, the X-T30 II sits at the other end of
the line-up. With its tactile controls, cool
retro styling and excellent image quality,
the X-T30 was already one of our favourite
compact cameras, so we were lookingforward to seeing what Fujifilm would do
with the second iteration of the model.
Find out what we make of it on page 104.
DJI’s new flagship camera drone has
recently dropped, too. Packing a Micro Four
Thirds image sensor and a second camera
with hybrid zoom, the Mavic 3 will appeal
to serious aerial photographers. Steps up in
image quality also mean more possibilities
in post-production, of course, and it’s vital
to have the right tools for the job. Whether
you’re happy with your image-editing
software or not, don’t miss the results
of our 10-way Group Test. Rod LawtonGiven to the top
