The Minas de Riotinto are
copper mines located on the
Tinto River in southwestern
Spain. Mining activities have
been documented there
since historical times.
Much of the copper from
the mines is transferred to
chemical plants in Huelva
province. The unearthed
minerals give odd,
otherworldly shades to the

Every autumn the red hawthorns are harvested. The villagers put the sliced hawthorn to dry on
the cliff, which becomes a unique scenery in South Taihang. The ripe hawthorn not only brings
