Tulips
A still-life shot of some flowers is
wonderfully simple to pull off at home
with minimal photo kit. Tulips make for
beautifully vibrant photos. You can dress
the scene with a few petals on your table
and a pleasing arrangement of flowers in a
vase, for a simple and effective composition.

Freshly cut
When you buy your flowers, make sure
you get a bunch that looks fresh and are
in good condition: dog-eared flowers won’t
make for good photos. Cut the stems at
a 45º angle and place in a vase with
water and the provided plant feed
to keep them looking at their best.
