riginally launched as the
kit lens alongside the
retro-styled Z fc compact,
this svelte optic is now available
standalone – and in black. With a
total length of 43mm and weighing
in at 155g, the Z 28mm f/2.8 has
a minimum focus distance of just
0.19m (0.63 ft), making it handy
for close-up photography. On a
full-frame Z-series camera, the
wide-angle 28mm focal length
will be ideal for capturing subjects
including landscapes, cityscapesand more, while the optic will have
an effective focal length of 42mm
on an APS-C-sensor camera.
Adoption of a multi-focusing
system permits fast and accurate
autofocus control, and the lens is
sealed for dust and drip-resistant
performance. Aperture and
