yet. Also new are skin temperature
and blood oxygen measurements,
which could signal that you’regetting ill or entering a new
menstrual phase (hello, more
stress); and wearing the watch
while you sleep allows it to look

It might lack the Apple Watch’s vast
array of third-party apps, but Fitbit
watches still have a strong feature
set. You get on-device GPS, NFC,
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 20+ exercise
modes, plus automatic tracking of
activity and sleep. Both Alexa and
Google Assistant are supported,
as is Fitbit Pay; it’s water-resistant
to 50m and should last six days
between charges, helping reduce
the stress of a flat battery.Fitbit’s trackers encourage you
to walk to the pub instead of
catching a taxi, but its watches
are altogether more ambitious.
While the all-new Fitbit Sense
tracks fitness and sleep, stealing
the headlines – including four
on this page – is the fact that
it’s the first smartwatch with
a built-in electrodermal activity
(EDA) sensor to detect stress.● Stressed for success

manage stress by giving insights
