SCUF GAMING REFLEX
£200, scufgaming.com

If you’re serious about your gaming, Scuf may
have what you need: the Reflex is the PS
sequel to the PS4-era Scuf Impact, and does
just about everything right for those who need
accuracy and speed. Short-throw triggers with
dynamic resistance make things far more
responsive, textured thumbsticks mean you
shouldn’t lose your grip, and extra paddle
switches on the back of the controller can be
mapped to whatever function you like. That’s
critical, giving your thumbs more time to hit the
sticks when they might otherwise be occupied
with the face buttons, and each controller can
store three profiles. The Pro version (£220)
adds comfort silicone grips; the FPS edition
(£250, out soon) switches the triggers for instant
clicky switches, which is basically cheating.

T3 SAYS: Outrageously expensive, but what
does a headshot cost?

POLK AUDIO SIGNA S
£329, polkaudio.com

Dolby Atmos is mainstream now. There, we said
it. It’s dropping in sub-£400 laptops, just about
every streaming device worth its salt supports
it, and here comes Polk Audio with a supremely
affordable Atmos soundbar just begging to get
into your living room. This isn’t one of those
odd Atmos devices that virtually supports the
format but doesn’t have the requisite hardware,
either: Polk’s low-profile bar includes seven
drivers, including a discrete centre, tweeter/
woofer stereo pairs and two proper upfiring
drivers, and the package even includes a
wireless subwoofer. At £350 that’s a bargain
whichever way you look at it – and, with eARC
support, Bluetooth, optical and auxiliary inputs,
it’s versatile enough to handle all you can throw
at it without getting ideas above its station.

T3 SAYS: Get one for your kitchen. At this
price, why not?
