great, however, with aflat, mushyfeel

andmoreflex than we’d like. The

touchpad,however,isl arge and

responsive,withapleasantmechanical

clickwhenyou pressdown.

hours in ourvideo-playbacktests. This

should be enoughto getyou through a

dayofworkaway fromthemains.

The 14in screen is somewhat

disappointing. Whileithas decent colour

accuracy, andvideos look fine, its

brightnes slevelscould be higher. We

measuredamaximumbrightnes sof

200 cd/m2,whichismerelyadequate.

Workingoutside on asunny day, the

screen wasjustabout visiblein shadow,

but youcouldn’tmakemuchout in

direct sunlight. That’sdisappointing,

especially fora2-in- 1devicethat’s

designed to be carriedaroundand

usedanywhere.
