Setupwindowwill open andstart downloadingthe installation files

forthe Windows11I SO^3 .You don’t need to clickanythingbecause

MediaCreationTool will do everythi ng automatically, but be preparedto

wait awhile becausethe file sare more than 4.5GBinsize. Once

downloaded,the programwill cr eate andmount theISO file .Makeanote

of wherethisiss tored–itshould be in the‘MediaCreationTool.ba t-main’

folder in your Downloadsfolderand will be called ‘1121H2 Consumer x64’

or si milar.

of VMware Workst ation16Playerfrom

andsetup process, declinin gany options you’re not

sure ab out (these arenot junk,but areaimedat

advancedusers ). Launch theprogram,select‘Use

VMware Workstation16Playerfor free for

noncommercial use’ andclick Continue,thenFinish.

When VMware Workstation opens, cl ick‘Create a

NewVirtualMachine’^1 on theright-hand side ofthe

Home screen.You can also access this option by

clicki ng thePlayermenu^2 andchoosingFile, then

NewVirtualMachine,orbypressingCtrl+N.

files.ClickthegreenCodebutton^1 at thetop of thepage,

chooseDownload ZIP^2 ,thenextract thecontentsoft he

ZIPfile .Double-clickthe MediaCreationTool file^3 –click

‘Moreinfo’ then‘Run anyway’ify ou seeaMicrosoft

Defender SmartScree nwarning.
