3 COOL WAYS TO EAT AN APPLE


One large apple has 5 grams of fibre and 14 percent of your daily vitamin
C—important for your immunity and for keeping weight off. Go ahead and
chomp on an apple as a snack or dessert, but if you’re looking to spruce
things up, try these methods:


Make crispy apple chips: Thinly slice an apple, sprinkle on some
cinnamon, and bake at 110°C for about 45 minutes.


Sauté apple wedges in olive oil with fresh thyme and lemon juice. Top
them off with a splash of balsamic vinegar.


Cut them up and mix them with cabbage and grated carrots to create a
coleslaw. For dressing, try plain Greek yoghurt, lemon juice, and just a
touch of maple syrup.
