Massage Your Kale, People!
You don’t have to go full-on shiatsu. But when it comes to this tough
green, a little bit of pampering goes a long way. Massaging these fibrous
leaves make them easier to chew and digest. Just knead the stemmed leaves
—like you would bread dough—for a few minutes with oil and lemon juice
until they feel less stiff and turn a brighter shade of green.
Mega-Greens Smoothie
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
