5 Transfer the wire rack
to the sheet pan lined
with parchment paper.
Using an offset spatula,
spread a ⅛-inch-thick
layer of almond cream on
each slice. Sprinkle the
top with sliced almonds
and confectioners’ sugar.
Place the sheet pan in the
hot oven and bake 10 to
12 minutes, until the slices
are golden brown.
