Pastry School, and when
the time comes they never
stop reminding me to bring
some home. They like
them so much that they
request them for their
birthday cakes.
Like doughnuts, beignets
are deep-fried yeasted
pastries, but the
similarities stop there. My
kids never eat or crave
doughnuts, nor do I; the
